Structure, Governance and Management focus

    The Oval Community Partnership is a not for profit organisation and a company limited by guarantee and has no share capital.  The liability of each member in the event of winding up is limited to £1.  The company is governed by a Memorandum and Articles of Association. The company has obtained dispensation from the registrar of Companies to exclude Limited from the Company name.

Appointment of Directors

     Under the requirements of the Memorandum of and Articles of Association the Directors are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.  Additional members of the management committed may also be elected.  The Management Committee must ensure that its makeup is appropriately reflected through the diversity of the Trustee body and those traditional businesses, housing associations and the police are represented on the Management Committee as advisors.
