Stained glass windows
The majority of windows in St Marks Kennington are relatively plain but there are a few exceptions. The main window behind the altar depicts the life and ascendency of Christ. It has the motto:
“I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also”
A second window has the motto
“This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Hear him.
The third window commemorates
The motto reads
“I must work the work of Him who sent me.”

Domed roof-light
Above the central aisle of St Marks is a stained glass domed roof-light. The design mixes geometric and abstract elements depicting the sun trying to shine through the clouds.
The second picture shows the dome from above and the third the modern roof structure above.
